I just committed a new version to libdc1394. It is much nicer as it
operates much better now in mmap mode. By supporting mmap doublebuffer,
the mmap mode now works with effectv (before mmap was not used, and mmap
is more efficient). This is good because in mmap mode, the
dc1394_vloopback provider can be very flexible and dynamically respond
to video palette and size requests. One can also manually specify the
pipe mode along with size and palette options if there is application
compatibility problems with mmap.
