Hello everybody,
I am looking for a way to grab from multiple DV-Cameras at the same time?
(With one VIA VT6306 card on Kernel 2.4.22)
What I already tried:
Starting two dvgrab (version 1.2) processes with option --dv1394 (device for
the one process major 171 minor 32, for the other 171 34) and with option
--channel. I selected one channel to be 63 and this process was grabbing
happily. The other process failed, either with "Device or Resource busy" in case I
set it's channel to 63, too, or just by doing nothing if I choosed any other
channel 0-62.
Before that, I tried to write a programm by my own, opening dv1394 devices,
doing DV1394_INIT ioctl and grabbing. The result was exactly the same.
After all that I just started two dvgrab processes and they were grabbing
from the same camera.
Is there a way to tell my computer from which node frames are to be grabbed
from?
Best wishes,
Matthias
