File dump to 1394 DV

Hello all,

Please pardon the newbie question, but I'm just wondering if anyone knows of a
program to backup or dump a file or files to a mini-DV camcorder via 1394. What
I'm looking for is exactly what's described in the BackFire project (http:
//backfire.sourceforge.net/) but that project looks pretty cold so I'm wondering
if some other program will already do the same thing. Since it seems like an
obvious application, I can't be the only person hankering for such a utility.
