We have had problems with small and large files. I asked our programmer what
he was doing before we got the kernel logs I posted to you last time and he
said this:
"I wrote a script that mounts/unmounts reads and writes about 1.5 Gig of
data in a loop and ran it for a while. It died after only the second
iteration with "Input/output error". Strangely the errors occur when
reading the files. When I mount the drive again, several files are
corrupted. I therefore need to run an fsck on the drive to repair the
broken files."
