Try downloading the latest config-rom-2.4 branch from linux1394.org. It
is a testing branch but it has new CSR generation code including code to
create the CSR entries that WinXP and Mac OSX is looking for.
With this version there is no need to use a user space work-around any
more. I have FTP'd files and browsed simple web pages on a Linux box
from WinXP.
