same here: withouth the max_speed parameter, I can reproduce the crashes
on Linux, 9 times out of 10. On windows, without any slow down
parameters, I can't get it to crash. Could be of course that the windows
driver senses there's a problem, and slows down automagicly...

This is also the reason I can't exchange my cardbus adapter with my
supplier ....
