I want to run an external Firewire-HD, but nothing is detected.
I tried it with an iPod (no reaction) and with an external HD
(with Oxford Chipset) also no reaction. :/
The same HD has also an USB2 connection, which runs without a problem.
It makes no difference if I switch the HD on or off (while plugged in).
dmesg says nothing :/
With gscanbus, I can only see one node (S400 Linux OHCI-1394).
I compiled ohci1394 sbp2 raw1394 as module.
These are the outputs
#kernel version : 2.6.0-test9 (same behavior with 2.4.22)
#libraw version : 0.9.0
