Hi all,
I am running Gentoo with a 2.6.1 kernel, and have until recently been
able to use my firewire hdd with very few problems. In the last couple
of days however (after having just upgraded a number of packages on my
system) firewire has stopped working. I now get the following errors:

I have tried using the modprobe sbp2 serialize_io=1 option, but this
does not help.

This is all a bit a problem for me as I only have a small drive on my
laptop and really need that extra storage.

Any assistance you can provide will be much appreciated.
Regards,
James Fitzsimons
