Hi guys (and gals),

I am running MDK 9.2 on a Compaq Presario 2540EA.

There's an issue regarding the ohci194 module and this distro. The bug
is documented on Mandrake's Errata, but no real fix suggested, only a
work around...

The say there's a problem with the APIC and this motherboard, so I
should add 'nolapic' to the kernel options.

My question: Does anyone know how to make it work?

I am running Kernel 2.4.22-26mdk here is the lspci output relevant to
this device:

00:0c.0 FireWire (IEEE 1394): Texas Instruments TSB43AB21
IEEE-1394a-2000 Controller (PHY/Link)

Thanks,
