Canon MV600i and Slackware 9.1

Hi everyone,
I have Slack 9.1 and a MV600i without devfs support. I downloaded kino,
dvgrab, and dv1394d, but I always get:

dv1394 open: device or resource busy

and I can't capture anything. I don't know what to do because I made the

device as told: mknod -m 666 /dev/dv1394 c 171 34

Can You help me? Ah, my kernel is 2.4.24 with ck-1 patch.
