This error was generated and returned by the drive controller. So, linux
did the correct job of managing the communication between the device and
the application. In this error, there is a problem reading either due to
an undisclosed problem on the drive or the disc. If the problematic
discs can be read by several other drives with no problems, then you
might return the unit to Powerfile for servicing.
