You could also try this one: Attach the drive to a Windows box,
than add the Linux box. Linux might not be able to login into the
drive, but perhaps you can 'see' it then in gscanbus. If that was
the case, it would mean Windows manages the bus differently from
Linux, i.e. in a way like the bridge manufacturer expects. Might
(or might not) give a hint what to do about it.
