Hello.

My PC is sony vaio-z505, which has "Sony Corporation
CXD3222 i.LINK Controller (rev 02)", and I've
installed both windows2k and gentoo linux.
I have two enclosures, both use oxfw900 chips, but
both aren't the same product.
Both enclosures works like a charm in Windows2K.
But In linux, one works well, the other doesn't.

In kernel 2.4 and till kernel 2.6.0_test1, all
enclosures have worked well.
But from kernel 2.6.0_test2, I couldn't use one
enclosure which contains hdd.
Now I use Kernel 2.6.6-rc2, but I can't still use that
enclosure.
When connecting the enclosure which has the problem, I
got this error message in my log.

Apr 26 11:53:35 [kernel] ieee1394: Error parsing
configrom for node 0-00:1023
Apr 26 11:53:36 [kernel] ieee1394: Node changed:
0-00:1023 -> 0-01:1023
Apr 26 11:53:44 [kernel] ieee1394: Node resumed:
ID:BUS[0-00:1023] GUID[0030e000e0006f39]
Apr 26 11:53:44 [kernel] ieee1394: Reconnected to
SBP-2 device
Apr 26 11:53:44 [kernel] ieee1394: Node 0-01:1023: Max
speed [S400] - Max payload [2048]
Apr 26 11:54:05 [kernel] ieee1394: sbp2: Error logging
into SBP-2 device - login timed-out

I wish I could use that enclosure in next kernel.

Sorry for my bad english.
