Try the 1394 driver sources from linux1394.org's Subversion
repository. They contain some bug fixes that are not yet
available in the official kernel.

On the other hand, the 2.6 variant of the 1394 drivers are still
very unstable compared to the 2.4 variant, so don't be surprised
if even the most recent 2.6 drivers fail.
