Hi,

I recently purchased this
http://www.century.co.jp/products/suto/ex35ful2.html mainly for my
wife's Mac.
This box supports 2 IDE disks and can make them available via USB or FW.
I only use the Firewire
interface for obvious reasons :-)

Using Windows 2000, I get 2 LUNs, one for each disk. I'm using only one
disk, so the LUN 0 is used,
LUN 1 is unused and gives me errors, resp. Windows does not recognize a
valid disk. Which is expected.

The problem is Linux: 2.6.5 does not show any disk. It shows it can find
something, but it's not useable:

The second pair of indented lines are the part which does not work:
seeing 0 512 byte sectors is
not what I expect. It should be more like 200MB worth of sectors.
/dev/sdb is therefore not useable at
all.

Is this a known problem? And more important: Any fix available or in
sight? Or is it a very broken sbp2 device?
If there is anything I can do to help debug, please let me know.

Thanks,
Harald

Is this a known problem? I'll try the latest ieee1394 code soon
