Moin,

I'm new to firewire. Yesterday I installed a firewire card which lspci
shows as VIA Technologies, Inc. IEEE 1394 Host Controller (rev 46)
(prog-if 10 [OHCI]).

I build a Kernel (2.6.6-rc1) with

CONFIG_IEEE1394=y
CONFIG_IEEE1394_OUI_DB=y
CONFIG_IEEE1394_PCILYNX=y
CONFIG_IEEE1394_OHCI1394=y
CONFIG_IEEE1394_SBP2=y
CONFIG_IEEE1394_DV1394=y
CONFIG_IEEE1394_RAWIO=y
CONFIG_IEEE1394_CMP=y

At boottime I get the following output:

ohci1394: $Rev: 1172 $ Ben Collins <bcollins@debian.org>
PCI: Found IRQ 11 for device 0000:00:08.0
PCI: Sharing IRQ 11 with 0000:01:00.0
ohci1394: fw-host0: Unexpected PCI resource length of 0!
ohci1394: MMIO resource (0x0 - 0x800) unavailable
ohci1394: probe of 0000:00:08.0 failed with error -12
ieee1394: raw1394: /dev/raw1394 device initialized
sbp2: $Rev: 1170 $ Ben Collins <bcollins@debian.org>
ieee1394: Loaded CMP driver

There is an externel HD which I try to connect but after the above
message I didn't try to mount it. ;-)

Is there any chance to get this card working?
Matthias
