I'm having a public monologue here...

As it stands, it's the disk drive itself. Probably some weird
incompatibility between the 200GB Seagate drive
and the Firewire bridge and Linux/MacOSX. All other disks (I tried 5
different ones, from 40 to 250GB) work fine,
the 200GB Seagate drive works fine everywhere else (IDE cable, SCSI
bridge, another Firewire bridge).

I still don't understand why it works on Windows 2000 though...
In any way, nothing I can blame the sbp2 driver for and thus it does not
belong to this list.
