Hi,
i have FC2 Test3 with kernel 2.6.6. I have an external HD (Samsung SP1614N) attached via firewire. I'm using encrypted partitions with the cryptoloop device (AES). I never had Problems with the HD while using the 2.4.x kernel, which was compile with the patches from www.linux1394.org.
Since using 2.6.x kernel i have problems attaching the HD and using the file systems. Somtimes the device cannot be found by the system and i need to rmmod and modprobe the sbp2 module some times, so the HD gets attached. When i copy i constantely get error messages like "aborting sbp2 command" - the process is very slooow!
