Concurrent logins in IDE bridges

I asked IOI for their FWB-IDE02 (Initio chip) as it's the only board
(I know of) which supports IEEE1394 and 4 disks. Would be perfect
because I have some 4 bay SCSI cases.

To my surprise they answered within one day. However, the answer was: 1
login only. Thus I can add one more entry to this list:

SBP2 link chip maximum concurrent logins
------------------------------------------------------
LSI 501 rev B3 1
OXFW911 4
OXFW922 2
SYM13FW500 1
TSB42AA9 1
IOI FWB-IDE02 (Initio 2430L) 1

Without being pessimistic, but so far only Oxford chips have this
capability. While I do understand that companies cannot sell
many more chips just because they have this feature, I wonder
how difficult it is to implement.

Unfortunately nowadays most external cases have something else
used as a bridge. The Oxford ones seem to be more expensive.
