Anyone have any suggestions on a good firewire 800 board to get for a
linux box? I know that there's probably a list of supported cards for
the driver like there is for regular firewire boards, but I haven't had
the best luck with those boards. So I'm looking for actual brand name
boards that people have personally used with success.
Also, and this is probably a silly question, is firewire 800 backward
compatible with 400 devices?
