problem

I run linux 2.4.26, slackware 10.0

I have a ST Lab PCI Firewire 1394 and a Panasonci NV-EX3

When i modprobe raw1394 i get "raw1394: /dev/raw1394 device initialized"

but no /dev/raw1394 is created, and if I create it with mknod id doesn't
work either

dmesg says:
ieee1394: Node changed: 0-01:1023 -> 0-00:1023
ieee1394: Node removed: ID:BUS[0-00:1023] GUID[0080458020acf09e]
ieee1394: NodeMgr: hotplug policy returned -13

syslog says:
ohci1394_0: Unexpected PCI resource length of 1000!

I try to use dvgrab but it gives me error.
