It does certianly sound like it especially since the drive is only bus
powered right now. The only machine I have really tested it on other
then this one is a mac, and I remember reading somewhere that the mac
tends to provide more power over the bus. I'll go get a power adapter
and try it with that.

Hopefully it's just power loss, if that doesn't solve it then I'll try
hooking up the rear power and see if that makes a difference.
