Hi I am on a debian box.

1. Linux Version : Linux debian 2.6.8 #1 Thu Nov 18
00:18:33 MST 2004 i686 GNU/Linux

2. lspci output :
$ lspci -v | grep -i firewire
0000:01:06.0 FireWire (IEEE 1394): VIA Technologies,
Inc. IEEE 1394 Host Controller (rev 46) (prog-if 10
[OHCI])

3. $modprobe raw1394 --no error
4. $modprobe ohci1394 -- no error

5. Output of gscanbus
debian:/home/findme# gscanbus
couldn't get handle: No such file or directory
This probably means that you don't have raw1394
support in the kernel or that
you haven't loaded the raw1394 module.

6. # testlibraw
couldn't get handle: No such file or directory
This probably means that you don't have raw1394
support in the kernel o r that
you haven't loaded the raw1394 module.

Can't seem to figureout what to do next ?

Please advise.

Thanks
Gopal
