I currently have an application were I am streaming data isochronously
from an embedded device to a WindowsXP PC. I have been able to use and
modify the dumpiso tool source from libraw1394 to allow me to capture an
isochronous stream from the device under linux, which works great.
Ultimately, I would like to have the ability to capture the isochronous
data on both the winXP box and Linux box at the same time. Is it possible
to do this using a single iso channel, or is a iso channel strictly
point-to-point? My iso stream uses the full bandwidth, so mirroring the
stream on two different channels isn't an option since it cuts my bandwidth
in half. I also don't want to monkey with the embedded device's firmware
if I don't have to (but I have access to it if need be).
I was hoping that the winXP box could start the iso transfer and the
linux box could listen on the same channel.
Thanks for the help,
Aaron
