It's mentioned in the FAQ at www.linux1394.org, but there seem to be
temporary DNS problems with this domain, so here we go:
- try "modprobe sbp2 serialize_io=1" (will probably not help)
- use kernel 2.4, or
- use kernel 2.6.11.*
I do not know whether all recent bug fixes made it into 2.6.11 yet. It
may be necessary to take the drivers from linux1394.org's trunk as a
replacement of linux/drivers/ieee1394. If this still does not work, try
the serialize parameter again. Please post if it succeeds or still fails.
