firewire raid setup?

I am setting up a raid file server.

My harddrives are in a multi lun 4 bay firewire enclosure

Can I still use it as a Raid setup on my drives even though they are in an enclousure ? raid 0 or raid 0/1 ?

I know linux has software raid package raidtools

any help much appreciated
