The last revision from the svn.linux1394.org repo which compiles
out-of-the-box in kernel 2.6.8 is rev 1234. It is theoretically possible
to use even newer revisions, but you would have to revert about 2/3rd of
the patches after rev 1234 which introduced macros of newer kernels and
such stuff.
