pcmcia + coriander

I try to get images over a 1394/pcmcia card (Assmann Digitus). The card
is sucessfully recognised since ieee1394 and ohci1394 are loaded as soon
as the card is plugged in. But i can't get any images e.g. using
coriander or my own written programm using either raw1394 or video1394.
Using coriander with raw1394 version, i can start the iso transmission,
but simply get no images (although the camera light signals, that the
camera transmitts images).
The same is for video1394, but additionally i get an error message:
ERROR: Failed to setup DMA capture with VIDEO1394.

Any idea what to do?

PS: I also tried another 1394/pcmcia card, which was even not detected
by the notebook.
